About Me

I am an experienced mathematics tutor with a strong academic and analytical background. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a master’s degree in Engineering Project Management from Middle East Technical University (METU), as well as a master’s degree in Economics and Finance from Boğaziçi University, where I graduated with a 4.00/4.00 GPA as valedictorian.

I teach mathematics in English to middle-school and high-school students, from strengthening fundamental concepts to exploring more advanced topics. My lessons can cover arithmetic, algebra, equations, functions, geometry, introductory calculus, probability, and statistics.

My teaching approach focuses on genuine understanding rather than memorizing formulas. I explain difficult ideas step by step, connect them with intuitive examples, and adjust the pace according to each student’s level. For capable students who find their schoolwork easy, I can also create a more challenging learning plan and introduce higher-level concepts gradually.

I offer both online and face-to-face lessons in Istanbul. Lessons can be conducted entirely in English.
