I will be setting starter questions which will relate to previous topics that have been covered in the class. I will also be setting homework after every lesson and providing a progress report for each student.

About Me

Hi my name is Jeanette and I am 30 years old. I have previous experience tutoring in maths, english, biology and chemistry. I believe that anything is achievable through hard work and determination. The approach I use is to firstly, identify my students learning style as we all remember information differently and then finding ways to help them understand a subject by making it more understandable. This involves using mnemonics, drawings, practicing questions and other learning aids.

When I was a young girl I had a tutor who helped me overcome my fear of maths. I would like to help others also as I understand the challenges young people face with school and achieving high grades. During my sessions, I teach using a big whiteboard which creates a similar classroom environment and have a big screen where I project all practice questions and videos onto.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
