Reading, Writing and/ or Maths Tutoring for Primary School or Homeschooled Children
From 89 C$ /h
I teach online using Zoom. I offer classes for primary school aged children in reading, English and maths. I am able to teach all of these subjects in each lesson or focus on one, whatever the need of the child.
In my English and maths lessons I utilise teaching materials that prove to be fun and have a “gamified” sense. This makes their tutoring sessions incredibly engaging and interesting. Children enjoy the format and content of my English and maths lessons and learn without realising it!
With my reading lessons, these are more clearly structured and children will go through certain activities which will become familiar to them in each session. The reading lessons are fast-paced and follow a clear path as this method has been proven to be most effective in the teaching of reading.
I’m on a mission to help students succeed with their learning so that they can reach their full potential.

About Me
I am a qualified and experienced primary school teacher of over twenty years and have taught children from aged 3 - 13 years old. I’m proficient in teaching English and maths to primary aged children and am also a reading specialist teacher.
I know how tricky it can be for children to catch up or keep up with the pace of learning in schools sometimes. This can be for many reasons including lack of time given to acquiring knowledge, skills or concepts in the classroom, confusing teaching methods that don’t make sense to the learner or just because the learner needs more input to grasp the idea.
I’m on a mission to help students succeed with their learning by offering engaging, fun, clear tutoring classes in reading, English and maths.
My teaching style is supportive, encouraging and friendly. I build good relationships with students and am genuinely interested in them. I find children learn best when they are in a supportive environment and one in which they feel comfortable enough to ask questions and be courageous!
