The GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) and GRE (Graduate Record Examination) are standardized tests used for graduate school admissions, but they cater to different fields. The GMAT is primarily designed for business school admissions, particularly for MBA programs, while the GRE is more widely accepted across various graduate programs, including business, law, and other fields. Both tests assess analytical writing, verbal reasoning, and quantitative reasoning skills, but the GMAT places a greater emphasis on problem-solving and analytical writing, whereas the GRE is often considered to have more geometry questions and a broader range of quantitative question types
