About Me

Hello everyone, my name is Jieyu, a Chinese who live in Madrid now. Before moving to Spain, I lived and worked in Sydney and Shanghai. I have been doing online teaching for many years as some of my students/friends told me that it took them one hour to go to an academy ( or there isn't any academy in their town) or they couldn't really can make full use of a class in a traditional academy. Therefore I felt I was fully inspired to start my online course.

I am keen on different cultures which I have learned during my study and work in different countries. I have taken into the consideration of the cultures and mother tongues of students, if I happen to know a bit, with the aim to help them understand better the Chinese language. Additionally, thanks to the both successful and unsuccessful experience (when I learn French) I have had for learning foreign languages, I can adopted and used to design my Chinese classes.

I think the most importance of learning a language is to be able to communicate and use the language, except for those who want to be a linguistic. So you will have lots of chance to use the language and the class will be delivered in an interactive way.

I finished Bachelor degree in English Literature in Zhejiang Normal University in China. then I got Masters in Translation and Interpreting & International Relations in Macquarie University in Australia. I got the certificate of CELTA （Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)in IH in Sydney.

Romania - I worked to present Chinee culture and the language for those university students through AIESEC program right after I graduated.
Shanghai, China- I have worked in the Consulate General of Greece in Shanghai for almost three years and taught Chinese to those children from different countries in Soong Ching Ling school.
Sevilla, Spain - I taught Chinese in Oso Panda academy to local students.
