In this class I will teach you what you need to look for in texts in order to get the most out of them and also how to plan and write essays. I will assign homework after every lesson, whether that be reading (your set texts or perhaps secondary texts to use in essays, such as critical essays) or writing short pieces relating to your set text(s). My goal is to make sure students are able to read critically and make essay plans that will help them in their exams.
