Literature is pretty much everything that we read. But authors use techniques in order to captivate audiences! I struggled in school a lot and had to find my own way of studying and I believe my method will work for all. If you are studying for your GCSE's and are struggling to use the PEEL paragraph technique that are a necessity in order to even pass then I have a good way around this and all you'll need to do is just remember it.

If you are struggling with a particular aspect of Literature then we can discuss this and I will create learning tasks to help you focus on this.

I have created a power point and other tasks to help to help you identify language and structure techniques and how to write a successful PEE paragraph based on the literature books you have been given from school to study (In particular, Jane Eyre, An Inspector Calls and Macbeth)

I also can help younger students if you need help on a particular lesson being studied in class and we will focus on ways of making you understand what that lesson was/is about and we can also go through your set homework from school.

First sessions (approx. 10 minutes) with me are focusing on what you would like to achieve and focus on during your tutor sessions.

Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar is included as well.

SEN STUDENTS: reading support- bring a book and we can read it together! (7-12 year old's only please!)

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.

When it comes to the alphabet, words and sentences, it's more or less the same, but school pedagogy, school textbooks and regular lessons still follow the rote learning approach. In the lessons I propose, you will learn to use patterns because this is more efficient and faster.

Learning is easy, but unlearning bad habits is extremely difficult. This makes it all the more important to learn the right reflexes as early as possible.
