I am from Montreal, Canada, and a native French speaker.

I've studied French all my life, from studying languages and literature in pre-university college, and French literature and writing at university.

I've always been passionate about languages, and I make sure my students feel the same way at the end of our lessons!

Bachelor of Literature - University of Quebec in Montreal - 3.8/4.0 GPA:
I studied literature in relationship with sociology, psychology, politics, geography, history, art; reading texts from numerous languages and various time periods; exploring classical literature, European literature, post-colonial literature, amongst others. The study of literature has gifted me great analytical and literacy skills.

College degree in Languages - Cegep du Vieux-Montreal:
I studied languages for two years, during which time I perfected my English skills, oral and written. In addition, I learned Spanish and German, and continue to speak Spanish at an intermediate level. I also analysed linguistics, history of languages and etymology.

I worked as a tutor during school to help other students in French and Literature (2013-2015). Then, I worked as a tutor part-time throughout the years, because I love teaching. Now I'm looking to do more tutoring work - I find it so rewarding. More recently I've mostly focused on literature lessons since it is my degree, but I love teaching French at any level.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:
