Everyone can learn how to learn! No matter your background, your academic history or learning difficulties, I can help you develop great strategies and habits which will help you through your course, giving you lifelong skills. I'm a very experienced SpLD (Specific Learning Differences) tutor and academic mentor, and I have helped students in all sorts of disciplines from the arts to maths and medicine, law to the sciences and humanities, to:
Manage their time
Integrate a balance of life, work and study
Revise and prepare for exams
Essay and Dissertation structure
Interview and presentation preparation
And every other difficulty encountered in studying!
Together we can find great answers to everything you've ever wanted to ask about studying.
I am dyslexic and have a BA and MA in fine art, and an MSc in psychology.

About Me
After crashing out of music college first time round, I discovered I'm dyslexic later in life. That insight allowed me to overcome that inner conflict, and I went on to achieve a first class BA in fine art, and later an MA. Further curiosity led me to complete an MSc in psychology. I don't tell you these things to impress you - they were a slog! But I learned how to learn and how to use dyslexia for the advantage it is. Along the way I've worked in student support and arts mentoring, and had the privilege to work with all sorts of people in all sorts of disciplines. Whatever the subject, the study skill barriers tend to be the same, while completely individual. I've mentored exoffenders in the arts, homeless people in reading, numerous Dyslexic and SpLD students from A 'Level to PhD in several London universities. People with ADHD, D/deaf students, blind, speakers of other languages, you get the idea. It's my greatest pleasure to help students untangle the knots and get to the revelation!
