About Me

Hello everyone!
My name is Paola and I live with my family in a small town in northern Italy. I have been teaching children and adults for about 20 years. I am very passionate about languages and have attended many teacher training courses in Italy and the UK.

One of my interests is art history and I have experienced that teaching a language using a motivating topic can be more useful. For this reason, in my lessons, I focus not only on grammar and pronunciation but also on the cultural characteristics of each country.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing.

Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing.
We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis.
We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them.
