About Me

I haven’t had any real teaching experience yet, apart from helping my younger siblings with their school homework. But, as I’m thinking about a career in teaching, I’d absolutely love to have my first classes! It's still not clear what kind of teacher I'll be, but I do know that I'll put my heart into it and try to be as creative as possible. So it won’t just be you who learns; I’m also happy to learn new skills from our classes.

Western Armenian is a language that has been put in the endangered language's list, and I personally believe that such a rich language should never die. I believe that I am taking a huge initiative to be one of the individuals who'll try to save this important language from disappearing.
I try to make my lessons as interacting as possible. The lessons and exercises will be provided through PowerPoint presentations. I try to listen to my student in order to prepare the lesson plan together, according to his needs and preferences.

Being a pianist and a piano teacher, I already have lots of experience with teaching and pedagogical approach with the whole range of ages.

The lesson is intended to meet the student needs: the focus can be on the grammar, conversation or literature. In case of a middle-level speaker, the lesson will cover all four language's abilities: listening, speaking, writing and reading. If you wish to brush up your Italian, resume a past series of lessons, or simply start from scratch learning Italian, this is the right lesson for you! I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing.
