I will be helping students, progress in their learning for English, history, citizenship and media. I personally have done all of these subjects myself and have received 8+ in all the subjects, which is equivalent to A’s and A*. However, I know from my own experience that it would have been very helpful if I had extra help in these subjects. I will support the student in any way needed and will also provide them with worksheets that they are able to do on their laptops.

I don’t provide at home lessons, I am only able to do it over webcam. Which means that the student will need to have access to internet and a laptop or computer. You will also need to provide the student with stationary and something they can write on, and it will also be helpful to have access to a printer (but this is not mandatory), as I will be sending worksheets for the students to be doing over email so that they can still receive the resources whilst being at home.

My methodology: Learning to structure one's thoughts to express oneself better
My approach is based on a simple observation: success is not achieved through lack of effort, but often through a lack of method and confidence. My role is to transform subjects sometimes perceived as abstract (Philosophy, French) or intimidating (English) into concrete tools for success.

The typical course of a session:
1. Quick diagnosis: We start by identifying the areas of uncertainty from the previous lesson or the difficulties with a specific exercise.
2. Taking action: No boring lectures! We work on concrete exercises, essay plans or oral practice (in English) to "learn by doing".
