About Me
Hello, my name is Leila and I have just finished my MA in Spanish.
Learning a new language can be tricky, but I hope to inspire my students to become as eager about learning as I am. I am from the UK but spent my Year Abroad living in Madrid where I was able to really hone in on and gain confidence in my Spanish skills. I hope to also bring out the confidence in my prospective students and discover ways of making language learning fun.
Bringing literature into learning is a great way of engaging the students in cultural aspects of language learning whilst increasing vocabulary acquisition and grammatical skills. I am particularly fond of magical realism and Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
If you are interested in having a lesson, please do not hesitate to get in touch!
