Applications for English at Oxford and Cambridge both involve a written assessment, both of which I provide expert tutoring and guidance in as a first-class Classics and English graduate from Oxford.

English at Oxford uses the English Literature Admissions Test to decide who will be invited for interview, whereas at Cambridge only candidates shortlisted for interview will be required to take a written assessment. Both tests require detailed and thoughtful responses to literary extracts, which I will help develop your thinking and writing for.

Applicants are also required to submit two pieces of written work prior to interview, which I am able to advise about if requested.

Hello! My name is Maya, I am a first-class Classics and English graduate from the University of Oxford with significant experience in subject tutoring and Oxbridge admission coaching.

I fully appreciate the significance 1-to-1 tuition can have on a student's ability, confidence, and enjoyment in a subject. After I received such teaching at Oxford (having come from large state comprehensive schools), I ended up coming 2nd in my cohort in my finals.
