Hi there! I’m Iban, a qualified and experienced teacher living in Pamplona, Spain. I’m half Spanish, half American. I enjoy traveling and learning about new cultures. My hobbies are writing, reading, swimming, hiking, suspense movies, and playing the accordion, among many others. I’m here to help you learn English.
My lessons are focused on students’ needs. I like to help students in whatever English skill they want to improve (Reading, Listening, Speaking or Writing).

After graduating from University, I obtained my 120-hour TEFL certificate and TESOL diploma, and I’ve been teaching English since 2014.
I’ve taught adults, teens and children, and I’ve taught general English, business English and exam preparation lessons. I've taught all levels, but mostly B1, B2 and C1.
When the pandemic arrived, I switched to online teaching, and since then, I’ve been combining in-class with online teaching.
