About Me

As an environmental science graduate, I moved to China to work with pandas way back in 2003. Due to the SARS outbreak, foreigners weren't allowed to work with pandas, and so, I started teaching English as an ESL teacher. I gained my CELTA in 2015, and have been using it professionally ever since. I am passionate about wildlife conservation; love football, sci-fi movies, and the outdoors; relish discovering new foods from around the world; and I'm a very proud father of my thirteen year old daughter.

I take great care in getting to know my students; of upmost importance for me is to create a space where my students feel comfortable and relaxed enough to open up, to feel at ease, and to help build and augment their English language proficiency.
