What I provide in an English tutoring class is a little different from the traditional classroom setting. I excel in one-on-one conversations about everyday subjects like hobbies, work, social situations and debate. The structure of a class is self-contained, meaning every class is useful on its own, with something to take home on every lesson. Instead of dusty books and worksheets, classes that I provide revolve around real-world scenarios that we both bring to the discussion. We regularly establish healthy boundaries around how we coach grammar, syntax and pronunciation mistakes so that the student will gain knowledge and confidence in their language skills without the stress that comes with being corrected. Each lesson lasts an hour, unless special plans are made in advanced.
