English 101/ TEFL/ For Travel—Before you get lost!

ENGLISH/ TEFL/ For travel
Before you get lost is a course that will use my TEFL materials to go over vocabulary, and ask questions when you will get lost during travel.
I have given presentations to most states in the U.S and found myself landed the day before unable to understand a word in the regional dialect. I know how isolating even a few hundred miles from home, in your own country can be.
I come from a Jungian school of psychology and use its psche and symbol to make undifferentiated language into an empowered alone learning English.
Your best will be let out to take in the spirit of disconnection and find your way back in wonder from inevitable loss.
For example: thousands of years ago the circle in the northern hemisphere was NOT known by Chinese in China. Yet as humans we developed in shapes that were the same and completely disconnected— like a bird knows in instinct to make a nest.
We might be lost but learning the universal symbols in airports, stations etc can lead to the evening around the table— sharing the universal experience of diner.
We can work on vocabulary, reading and asking better questions to make the best of travel by discovery before you get lost on the way to your destination.

About Me
English One on One is a course to help you learn how to get your frustrations, fears, and needs to work for you while in a foreign language setting.
I have been to most states in the U.S in different regions with drastically different dialects —where it is hard to understand a single word my own language. I know the fear of landing at an airport before a presentation and not being able to understand my hosts tongue.
These feelings of isolation, like talking to a darkened audience in front of you — or overexposed can be a difficult baseline to communicate.
We can prepare for the unexpected by using a surprise —We can role play/ by playing pretend in order to prepare you for a serious conversation later that you don’t expect.
We can also look at pictures that are scrambled using AI and you can creatively interpret and explain in English what you see.
I also offer the learning materials I used in getting certified as an English language tutor to materialize your critical listening into reading exercises and punctuate our time together with grammar drills.
I can help provide orientation through the written word to make you more proficient at writing letters, essays and, work resumes.
Even if you don’t choose me as your tutor, we will put together a lesson plan during the the first hour we meet that you can take with you.
I wish you much success on your language journey!
