Hi!

My name is Margot. I have a passion for the English language, and I love helping people find their own voice in a foreign language. For some time now, my studies have been fully in English, and I love going abroad to meet new people. When going to a new country, I love to converse in English to make it very accessible for every nationality to join in on the conversation. I have met so many cool people by being able to express myself in a language that I did not grow up speaking,
and I would love to help other people reach that goal as well.
Of course, it cannot all be fun and games. Sometimes that English essay is due, and you just cannot seem to find the right words... Well, I can help you with that and give you the tools to continue learning even after our sessions.

My secondary education was mostly in the ASO stream in Belgium, but I spent my senior year in Michigan, USA. There, I learned most of my conversational English. My higher education has been fully in English. I have a bachelor's degree in Social Economic Sciences, and I am currently doing a master's in Sustainability. This program is also fully in English, with a lot of international students.

I have no relevant formal teaching experience, but I am the friend that people go to when they need some help with schoolwork or how to navigate a situation in a different language. I feel that this could be a good basis to start my own tutoring sessions with.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:
