I've been a tutor for 2 years, and over the course of this time I have taught everything from maths, to 11+ exams, to GCSE science! But this course is for those looking to improve their close reading inference skills in English. The sessions are structured similarly to a university seminar for close reading, where each week we select a text (this can be prose, poetry or drama) and we spend the session analysing the extract without context, primarily focusing on descriptive technique, structural technique and atmosphere. This is recommended for those with an interest for English Literature at a higher level, and is a collaborative session where you can get stuck in and analyse with my support.
