I am an experienced intervention tutor who spent a year teaching students who needed extra support reaching their target grades, SEND students and those who just needed a little encouragement! I am now an undergraduate English student, but young enough to remember and understand the experience and troubles that come with sitting your GCSEs. About Me

As someone who really struggled with traditional in-school teaching, I understand the frustration of knowing that you are capable and smart enough to understand a subject, but struggling to achieve the grades due to the teaching style of a teacher not matching your learning style.
This is where i think tutoring can be excellent for students, especially those with SEND needs. Everyone is different, and I understand that more than most. So I will always ask for your opinion on each activity and explanation i give, as if it is not helping you learn, whats the use! I always have multiple variations of one concept or learning activity up my sleeve for that exact reason!
