As a native speaker of English, I specialize in teaching conversational English. I will teach you how to speak naturally, focussing on the aspects of language such as idioms, phrasal verbs, and pronunciation. My lessons are student-focused which means you will be able to talk in a safe environment about whatever you choose, and I will act as a facilitator. We can play games, read books or just chat! It's entirely up to you. I am also able to help you with written work, to check spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

About Me

I am a patient, easy-going teacher from New Zealand who will not try to rush you. The lesson will be tailored to your wishes. Fluency? Pronunciation? Writing? Grammar? Whatever your focus is, I will make sure to comply with your expectations! I will also correct you however you like (e.g. after each mistake, after you've finished talking). I have an MA in English Philology (linguistics) so have a deep understanding of the English language.

My lessons are all done via Skype or Discord with or without a webcam. You do not have to have a webcam to take my lessons, if you don't wish to use one. Lessons purely with audio are fine too!
