Hello! My name is Sandra. I completed my undergraduate degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering in Mexico City. Following that, I earned my Master's degree in Communications Systems and Signal Processing in England, and my PhD in Physics, focusing on the acoustics of musical instruments, in Scotland.
I have been teaching electronics and electrical engineering since 1999 at various universities and in different countries, and I can do this equally well in German, English or Spanish.
If you are currently having difficulty following the electronics or electrical engineering lectures at your school, college or university, or if you want to prepare for an exam, or if you are looking for further opportunities to practice your knowledge, or if you generally want to learn about electronics or electrical engineering, I would be happy to help you!
Topics that I often cover include:
* Voltage, current, power, efficiency
* Ohm's and Kirchhoff's laws
* Solution of resistance networks with resistors in parallel and in series
* Solving circuits using the mesh and knot method
* Solving circuits using the superposition theorem
* Backup voltage and current sources
* Electric and magnetic fields
* Circuits with capacitors and inductors in direct current (step response)
* Circuits with capacitors and inductors in alternating current
* Power in alternating current, power correction
* Three-phase current
* Analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion of signals
