Hi,
My name is Sri, and I am an experienced and motivated Economics teacher. I can teach Macroeconomics, Money Banking and Financial Markets, and Econometrics. During my career as a college professor, I taught these subjects for six years at the undergraduate and master’s level. Later in my career, I enjoyed applying those concepts in the real world as a banker. I believe that the practical knowledge of how it all works, will help me motivate and explain these topics better to my students and it will benefit them in their future career. I love teaching because it permits me give back the learning and experience and nothing would make me happier than to see my students understand these subjects and find ways too apply it in their everyday life. Teaching should be fun, and it doesn't hurt to have a good sense of humor, which I try and adopt in my classes. As a teaching aid, I use data and daily economic outcomes referenced in the financial news headlines such as the WSJ and FT and link it to the concepts referenced during each class. This approach will really help connect the dots between the textbook material to its real-world application.
