Students will learn how to write a winning CV and this will also include job profiles, careers planning looking for the job they want, as well as preparing for interview and applications. The sessions offered also include year 12 students who wish to prepare for university, year 13 and adult students who may want help and support in preparing their UCAS application and writing a personal statement. As well as looking at other options such as apprenticeships.
Sessions students can choose also include employability skills, LMI (Labour Market Information) and how they can prepare for the world of work.
The tutor is a fully qualified Careers adviser with Level 6 in Careers, advice, Guidance & Planning and also a History graduate, specialising in British History, WWI, WWII, Fascism in Europe, Imperialism, colonialism and it's impact in Modern Britain, Women in History, social history during the interwar years. Helping students to research with modules on research for historians.
