About Me

My name is Edes, I have been teaching Mandarin Chinese and English for 5 years. I graduated from the University of Hull in the United Kingdom with the Bachelor degree in Marketing Management.

Work Experience and Area
I am a language enthusiast who cannot pass a day without exploring the world of languages. I can speak fluent Mandarin Chinese, English, Cantonese and Japanese. I do online teaching, face to face, 1 on 1 lesson. Also corporate and Intensive training. My students aged from 3 to 90 years old and they learn Chinese for different reasons, from having a hobby to dealing with Chinese customers.

I always design my lessons to fit different needs. And I always try to create a relaxing environment with my sense of humor and different activities.

Who am I after class
I am a backpacker when I am not on a job. One of my biggest accomplishments was to travel around the world for a year with a tiny budget. And I am proud of myself everyday when I remember the days I spent conquering the Himalayas in Nepal.

This is the basic version of my Chinese lessons which is suited for motivated learners who are committed to spending 2-4 high quality hours per week for self study outside of the class. The general structure lesson revolves around review from previous sessions, assigned exercises and the new chapter of textbook. After the lesson you will receive exercises and extra audiovisual materials for the theme covered during lesson through Google Classroom (free). It is encouraged to leave questions about the language on Google classroom as well.

It is possible to book 1,5 or 10 lessons per time. Following reservation is ensured when discussed and booked two weeks ahead of time. Meeting time is confirmed minimum 5-7 days in advance and cancellation is free until 3 days before.
