My Teaching Approach
Every student learns differently, so my approach focuses on:
1. Understanding the Student
The first session includes:
- Assesing the student’s current level
- Discussing goals
- Identifying strengths and areas for improvement
This helps me tailor each lesson to the student’s needs.
2. Clear, Simple Explanations
My strength lies in explaining difficult concepts in ways students can easily understand, whether that means:
- Breaking down problems step-by-step
- Using visual representations
- Connecting ideas to earlier material
- Providing worked examples
3. Building Confidence and Independence
I guide students toward developing:
- Effective problem-solving strategies
- String study habits
- Confidence working through unfamiliar problems
The goal is not just to improve grades, but to help them become more independent learners.
4. Practice-Based Learning
I support learning through:
- Targeted practice problems
- Exam-style questions
- Guided homework assistance
- Review sessions for quizzes, tests, and standardized exams

Experience / Qualifications
For the past couple of years, I have worked at my university tutoring freshmen and first-year students, many of whom are encountering rigorous math coursework for the first time.
In addition to this, I have worked as a Teaching Assistant at my University's Department of Mathematics and Computer Science where I tutored introductory courses for Computer Science.
Through this experience, I have learned how to break down complex concepts, identify common struggles, and guide students toward mastering the skills they need to succeed.
I have helped students strengthen their foundations, raise their exam scores, and approach their classes with more confidence.
