I am a high school teacher. I speak several languages. Arabic is my native language. I have worked with all levels. And I had training in teaching 👩‍🎓. I helped several foreigners master standard Arabic and the Tunisian dialect 🏆. I follow an official and recognized program to prepare lessons for each learner. I use conversations, text images, games, videos, stories to facilitate learning. I am patient, sociable, and I listen to my learners. I have over 12 years of experience teaching online Italian classes, adapting to the most diverse goals and profiles. I have supported university students preparing to study abroad, professionals working with Italian companies, and individuals who need to certify their Italian level with official exams such as CILS or PLIDA, with excellent results. I have also worked with children of all ages and with parents married to Italians, helping them integrate linguistically and culturally into the lives of their partners and children. I design each course with the student, adapting the content to their interests, pace, and learning style. I don't work with generic programs: I believe in a flexible, humane, and deeply individualized approach. Everything is available online so learning can continue outside of class. As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing. Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing. We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis. We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them. In the second part of the lesson, we will apply all of the above to the singing!

This course is intended for anyone who wishes to learn Tunisian dialect (Darija), whether it's for traveling, living in Tunisia, communicating with Tunisians, or simply out of linguistic and cultural curiosity. The Tunisian dialect is a living and rich language, different from classical Arabic. It incorporates influences from Berber, French, Italian, and Maltese. 👩‍🏫 I am Tunisian, I live in Tunisia, and I am fluent in French as well as other foreign languages, which allows me to guide you effectively, even if you don't speak Arabic at all. This course focuses on oral practice, simple dialogues, role-playing, and listening to authentic situations.

In this course, you will learn a range of linguistic methods and learn the terms used for describing a specific aspect of language or phenomenon (lexis, morphemes, and 'telegraphic stage' to give a few examples). The course requires you to explore your own data using quantitative and qualitative analysis (eg: how frequently are slang phrases used? Are there new auxiliaries being created?). No historical linguistics or literature is involved, but language change or specific traits will be sampled via your own data collection (if this is what is demanded in your course). As many students need to present a "year abroad" dissertation at University level (3rd year in the UK of a Modern Languages or Linguistics Undergraduate course) I can help you to research and structure your year abroad work, both in English (Linguistics) and Romance languages (French, Italian, Spanish). The topics that have arisen from recent discussions with students relate to French Caribbean writing, Italian resistance and reprisals in Rome (Fosse Ardiatine), and Spanish Etica franquista in films (among others).
