Arabic is one of the world's most important languages and is spoken throughout the Middle East. Learning Arabic allows us to not only connect and understand the region but also can play a huge role in understanding the book of Islam, the Qur'an.

In these lessons we will be following the same teaching I have received at University of Oxford. We will work through the alphabet and basic sentence structure before moving onto tenses and eventually, for those more advanced, we will study case endings.

These classes don't really have a set format as it is entirely based upon the students level and the subject they desire to study.

For the past two decades, I've had the privilege of tutoring in both French and English. My students have ranged in age, background, and origin, spanning children, teenagers, adults, professionals, and even seniors aged 85 and above.

You might wonder why I teach both languages. Well, I am bilingual, with American and Swiss/French roots, and I currently reside in Ireland. To the uninitiated, a grammar book seems to be written in another language because the meaning of the words is incomprehensible. In a down-to-earth way, I'll translate the grammar into familiar words. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning while having a positive mindset.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.
