Hello everyone. I’m Sayantan, a 9 yr experienced Maths teacher residing in Kolkata, India.
By qualification I’m a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and MBA in Marketing .

I started my career as an Assistant Manager Study Centre in an Educational Institute in Kolkata, in mid 2008, after completing my MBA and with passage of time I gradually moved to full time tutoring of Mathematics, which was my dream since my schooling days.
This is actually the 8th year of my teaching career.
Over the years, I’ve worked with many Online Tutorials, teaching Pure and Vedic Maths to students of different boards across the globe, studying between grades K -10, from different countries like USA, UK, SOUTH AFRICA, AUSTRALIA, UAE and also provided face-to-face (only for students residing in Kolkata,India) and online tutoring for students from different parts of India.
At the same time, I’ve also worked as a Content Developer of Mathematics for about 4 years now.

Speaking about myself, I can say:

I enjoy teaching more than anything else
I try to make a difference in the mental upbringing of a student
I spread positivity

My long years of teaching experience has helped me develop a set of beliefs about how I can best help students learn and grow. I feel in order to effectively teach a student, I must know and understand the exact difficulty they are facing in understanding any particular topic, so that I can help them accordingly on that topic, to make them understand it with utmost ease in the most interesting and effective way, and can he/she can do any sum very easily.
Each student I teach, is an individual with their own beliefs, ideas and feelings. My teaching is tailored to each student’s preferred way of learning, so that they can all achieve to the best of their abilities.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years.

I offer private tutoring in Paris (at the student's home) or remotely (online). My online lessons take place on an interactive whiteboard. This whiteboard is specifically designed to facilitate student/teacher interaction online. Thanks to this teaching tool, my online lessons are just as effective as in-person lessons.
