About Me

My aim as a tutor is always to ensure that students have a better understanding of what they may have been struggling with before, I come up with new and exciting ways to teach and always keep learning as fun as I can but making sure the aim is to make children confident and have a positive outlook on work. I currently work at a tuition center and have been now for over one year here I prep 11 plus and teach children of all ages, overall I get positive feedback from both children and parents. If needed I provide extra resources such as worksheets etc for children to take home and try their best to complete it. A requirement of mine is that I prefer to tutor at my own home as transport can be a slight issue at the moment :)

I do assign homework weekly as I think it is extremely important to develop a child's initiative and how they can tackle questions independently. From giving homework I also gain an understanding of the child's progress on that certain topic we have covered and if a further practice is needed then I make sure that we tackle the topic till they are fully confident with it.

Myself I am currently studying computer science at university, other than this art is a massive hobby of mine I do calligraphy and henna when I can, I have also volunteered with charities before as I feel helping society in today's day and age is extremely important.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years.
