Bridge for Beginners: An introduction to a fascinating game.

This fun course is intended for anyone who would like to learn a fascinating and enjoyable game, and for absolute beginners.

The course is suitable for anyone interested in card games but who has never played bridge, anyone who would like to learn a fascinating game, those who would like to play socially or start to make steps to play competitively.

The course evolves in a total of ten of sessions. Starting with a basic introduction, once everyone is familiar with the basic rules, basic bidding and basic card play, the class focusses on the Acol bidding system and, the most important element, card play techniques.

Each session includes, a specific aspect of the bidding, card play techniques and supervised practice sessions. A friendly environment is encouraged and is entirely online.

Extra information

You will need internet access, a laptop or similar, a pack of standard playing cards would be helpful.

The class can be run individually, or with groups of two or more. each classes can be run at a time suitable for all or at regular scheduled sessions as agreed at the first session. if you are in a group who would like to learn together this can be arranged.
