Airline Pilot & A320 Technical Preparation

Preparing for an airline pilot career requires more than memorising technical questions. This course is designed to build a clear understanding of aviation concepts and prepare you for the technical assessments, viva, interviews and airline selection processes that pilots face.

As a Commercial Pilot with CPL, Multi-Engine and Instrument Rating experience and an A320 Type Rating, I provide practical, structured guidance focused on what actually matters during pilot preparation.

Depending on your goals, we can cover:

* CPL and ATPL ground subjects
* Aircraft systems and technical knowledge
* A320 systems and Airbus technical concepts
* Technical viva and question-bank preparation
* Airline pilot technical interview preparation
* Flight instruments, performance and limitations
* Aviation regulations and operational knowledge
* Scenario-based technical questions
* Interview technique and structured answering
* Identification of weak areas and targeted revision

The teaching approach is interactive and focused on understanding rather than simply memorising answers. Complex aviation concepts are broken down into simple, interview-ready explanations, followed by questions and practical scenarios to test your understanding.

Whether you are preparing for CPL/ATPL examinations, an A320 technical assessment, airline selection or simply want to strengthen your aviation knowledge, the course can be tailored to your current level and specific target.

About Me
I am a ATPL holder with Multi-Engine Instrument Rating and A320 Type Rating, backed by over seven years of teaching and mentoring experience. I specialize in DGCA subjects including Air Navigation, Air Regulations, Aviation Meteorology, Aircraft Technical General, and RTR (Aero) preparation.

My teaching philosophy is simple: understand the concept first, then apply it confidently. I focus on building strong fundamentals rather than rote memorization. Complex aviation topics are broken down into simple, logical steps, making them easier to understand, retain, and apply in examinations and real-world aviation scenarios.

Having experience in both aviation and professional industries, I bring discipline, structure, and a result-oriented approach to every class. I adapt my teaching style according to each student's learning needs and focus on improving both knowledge and problem-solving ability.

My sessions are interactive, practical, and exam-focused. Whether you are preparing for DGCA examinations, RTR (Aero), CPL subjects, airline assessments, or technical interviews, I will help you build the confidence, understanding, and mindset required to succeed.

Subjects Offered:
• Air Navigation
• Air Regulations
• Aviation Meteorology
• Aircraft Technical General
• RTR (Aero) Preparation
• DGCA CPL Ground Subjects
• A320 Technical Knowledge
• Airline Technical Interview Preparation
Education
DGCA ATPL (May, 2025–May, 2025) from DGCA ATPL
Masters (Mar, 2021–May, 2023) from Masters in economics
DGCA CPL (Feb, 2019–now) from Commercial Pilot License
Experience / Qualifications
I am ATPL holder, Multi-Engine and Instrument Rating,, and an A320 Type Rating.

My academic background includes a Master’s degree in Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in English. Alongside my flying experience, I have developed a strong focus on aviation theory, aircraft systems, technical interview preparation and airline pilot selection.

I specialise in helping aspiring pilots understand complex aviation concepts, prepare for technical viva and interviews, and develop the confidence to answer airline-style technical questions clearly and accurately.

My teaching approach is structured, practical and focused on understanding the reasoning behind each concept rather than relying on rote memorisation.

Based on the global standards followed by Emirates Airlines in assessing Cadet Pilots, here is a detailed and comprehensive description of the test that explains the nature of the challenge and the skills it requires:
Description of the academic entrance exam (Mathematics and Physics)
This test is the first and most important step in the evaluation process, designed to measure candidates' scientific competence and mental abilities. It doesn't simply assess memorization of rules, but rather speed, accuracy, and the ability to apply scientific concepts in practical, aviation-related contexts.
1. Mathematics Component
This section focuses on the computational aspect that a pilot needs to perform navigation and fuel calculations immediately.
• Rapid mental calculation: Performing basic operations (multiplication, division, percentages) without using a calculator.
• Algebra and Geometry: Solving first and second degree equations, and calculating angles and triangles (especially the Pythagorean theorem for calculating paths).
• Data interpretation: Reading complex graphs and tables and extracting results from them with extreme speed.
2. Physics Component
This section aims to ensure the candidate understands the natural laws that govern the movement of an aircraft in the sky.
• Mechanics and motion: Newton's laws, speed, acceleration, and gravity.
• Simplified Aerodynamics: Concepts of pressure, density, and how to generate lift.
• Electricity and Magnetism: The basic principles of electrical circuits and understanding the circuits that support aircraft systems.
• Properties of matter: Understanding the behavior of gases and liquids (Bernoulli's principle) and the effect of heat and atmospheric pressure.
