We will cover some useful resources which can be used to practice, company-relevant information which should be prepared, and the preferred interview technique used in aviation.
I also like to end each session with a mock interview to really help my students prepare.

About Me

As someone who has experienced some of the recent changes to ATPL examinations and achieved 96%, I am well placed to help struggling students who require additional help to be able to get through these tough few months and achieve their dream.
I offer structured sessions where complicated concepts are broken down into simpler ways of understanding, as well as useful methods for remembering them. Sessions will also include practice questions putting what the student has learnt into practice with the use of real and example exam questions.

Aviation English is a type of English for specific purposes, in this case English used by aviation professionals such as cabin crew, pilots and air traffic controllers.

After many years overseas, both teaching and examining English, I have returned to Spain and am available to share my extensive experience and expertise in all aspects of English. I currently work as an Aviation teacher in a school in Alicante where I have taught for some years.

The ATPL license is the highest level of civil aviation licenses. You must take the ATPL test to obtain the license. Here are its types:

1- Airline Transport Pilot ATPL License
Once a pilot has accumulated 1,500 flight hours, they are eligible to earn an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL). This license allows pilots to fly large passenger aircraft and is required for airline work. However, some airlines will accept you without an ATPL, and you can obtain it once you have completed your hours on the job.

2- Frozen Air Transport Pilot License ATPL-F
You are eligible to take the ATPL test even if you do not have 1,500 flight hours, but you will receive a frozen license that will be unfrozen when you reach 1,500 flight hours.

An ICAO English certification of at least level 4, is a requirement for anyone hoping to work in an international aviation environment.
