Welcome! I am pleased to offer lessons in composition (western/contemporary classical style), music theory (harmony, counterpoint, formwork) and orchestral arrangement. I also teach the principles of Arabic music theory (maqamat, templates.)

My method of teaching emphasizes the creative participation of students in the lessons and a stimulating style of teaching that includes many practical examples and play. I plan each lesson carefully to match the student's needs and musical personality while at the same time teaching the students all the skills they need as musicians and encouraging them to try new things that can enrich their music.
Extra information
It is useful to have a keyboard during the lesson, and sometimes we may need a musical notation program

The course that I propose is BILINGUAL FRENCH / ENGLISH, as well as 2 BOOKS.

Age and musical taste are not restrictive when in the program, you can with qualitative daily work (not quantitative) quickly observe your progress.

Here the pleasure of playing music is put forward.

The kind of music you love most will be the focus of the course, their codes and secrets will be the focus of our study, that's what I want to share with you.

We can do technical lessons and simply learn together how to play one or more songs of your choice or mine, enrich your game with this approach and your repertoire!

(For example, We can re-arrange the pieces and make them more original by approaching the system (CAGED), and enriching their chords, resulting in new positions, new techniques and new sounds, using arpeggio techniques rather than strumming for 4-chord pieces, voicing and fingerstyle techniques, in short, expanding the instrument's playing fields and playing skills to keep progressing in your game and improve your rehearsals ...)

If you make a request, this program is obviously accompanied by the pleasure of learning more in theory and being able to directly apply new knowledge on its instrument and identify its common or rare use in the pieces discussed in class.

In this case, the theory is translated to be accessible to anyone, both for those who are connoisseurs and for those who discover everything from absolute zero.
The exercises, songs, and theoretical explanations offered throughout the program are organized in an order of progressive difficulty.

I wrote and produced 2 books of my method to learn the guitar and the music, that I sell to accompany my course and your apprenticeship in the best conditions and so that you can continue the course even at home and to review etc ... .
There is ONE BOOK OF COURSES containing all the theoretical and practical program of the year, as well as a BOOK OF EXERCISE on the ranges and the modes that you can obtain directly.

You can find here an indicative list of objectives that I propose in my theoretical program, which can of course adapt to your request.

--- Tuning / tuning and knowing his guitar:

-Know his chords:
* Triads: Fundamental State & Inversions
* Tetrads: Fundamental State & Inversions

🎯 INTRODUCTION
(English version below ⬇️)
Learn violin with a professional concert violinist active on the international scene.
I was trained directly by Maxim Vengerov, one of the world's greatest violinists, and I regularly perform as a soloist in concerts and festivals across Europe.
👉 You don't just learn the technique —
You learn to play, think and sound like a true stage musician.
💎 WHY MY TEACHING IS DIFFERENT
Most violin teachers:
no longer perform on stage
focus solely on the exercises
My teaching is based on genuine concert experience:
develop a powerful and beautiful sound
play with confidence
prepare for concerts and exams
progress efficiently without wasting time
👉 I teach what actually works on stage — not just in the rehearsal room.
🧠 INJURY TECHNIQUE & PREVENTION
A crucial aspect of violin playing is often overlooked: posture and tension management.
Over time, poor technique can lead to:
unnecessary tensions
physical pain (neck, shoulders, back)
limitations in progression
👉 Many students only realize it when problems arise.
From the outset, I focus on:
a natural posture
freedom of movement
an efficient use of the body
This ensures healthy and sustainable progress.
🔧 ADVANCED CORRECTION & SUPPORT
I also work with:
✔ Students who have developed technical difficulties
✔ violinists suffering from tension or discomfort
✔ Musicians who feel “stuck” in their progression
👉 With the right approach, it is entirely possible to rebuild a free, natural and confident technique.
🌍 INTERNATIONAL COURSE
International concert violinist
Winner of international competitions
Experience of concerts across Europe
Working with top-level musicians and ensembles
🎯 TARGET AUDIENCE
✔ motivated beginners
✔ Children starting out on the violin

✔ Advanced students preparing for exams or concerts
👉 Each course is tailored individually.
💰 STOCK VALUES
You are not paying for a standard course.

The trumpet: its correct technical execution and the interpretation of popular and academic universal repertoires, is available to everyone regardless of their age. We will build a logical sequence of studies that will help develop the technical aspects. And we will address repertoires according to the age and taste of the student. we will draw a path with short, medium and long term goals. we will build a technical routine and healthy habits to progress correctly. In addition, we will select musical pieces by mutual agreement to mature the technical development hand in hand with musical growth.

I am a professional trumpeter, I have participated in symphony orchestras, wind bands, big band, and small chamber and jazz ensembles. I have extensive experience teaching children, youth and adults.

For me it is very important to make music from the first lesson, because there must be a balance between technical practice and its application in small melodies or musical pieces. No matter the musical genre, we will always find a repertoire according to the level and interest of each student.

If you already know how to play and you need to perfect a piece or prepare a recital or audition, you can count on my experience and accompaniment as well.

In these lessons, I will help you reach your goals while having fun in the process, keeping the lessons structured and tailored to your personal needs. I have 5 years of experience helping students improve as well as specialist knowledge in a multitude of styles. Some examples of what you might learn include:

As a piano teacher, I possess a strong musical ear, extensive piano skills, and a broad knowledge of music and music theory. Thanks to my experience as a music teacher, I can guide students in their musical development in a clear, structured, and inspiring way. I am fluent in sight-reading and can quickly analyze and explain music, which helps me support students efficiently and purposefully during their learning process.

In my lessons, I combine technical development with musical understanding and expression. Patience, clear communication, and a positive learning environment are essential to me. Every student is different, which is why I use a personal approach that pays attention to the pace, level, and goals of each student. My strong motivational skills help students gain confidence in their playing and continue to enjoy learning music.

An important part of my work as a piano teacher is recognizing my students' strengths and weaknesses. By observing and listening carefully, I can provide targeted advice and adapt exercises so that students develop step by step. I help them improve their technique, deepen their musicality, and strengthen their confidence on the instrument.

The primary task in my piano lessons is to motivate students and make them enthusiastic about playing the piano. I want students not only to learn to play, but also to develop a true love for music. Therefore, I pay attention to technical skills as well as musical interpretation and listening skills.

During the lessons, I work systematically on the development of hand and finger technique. This is done through targeted exercises such as scales, arpeggios, chord structures, and other technical exercises that help build flexibility, strength, and control in the fingers. Additionally, I guide students in reading sheet music correctly, understanding rhythm, dynamics, phrasing, and musical expression.

I also develop and use adapted teaching materials and exercises that match the student's level and progress. By regularly reviewing and adjusting the exercises and techniques, I ensure that students build a solid technical and musical foundation.

In addition to learning to play existing pieces, I also focus on understanding music. Therefore, students in my lessons are also introduced to elements of music theory, so that they better understand how music is structured. This helps them practice more independently, learn new music faster, and develop a deeper insight into music.

My goal as a piano teacher is to create an inspiring learning environment in which students can develop musically, discover their creativity, and grow step by step as musicians. Playing the piano is not only a technical skill but also an art form through which people can express emotions, ideas, and stories. Therefore, in my lessons, I always try to connect technique, knowledge, and musical experience.

At my studio my students will not only learn how to play the piano, but they will receive a complete musical education in order to achieve their musical dreams. I will give all my best so everybody will get the tools for developing their own voice, helping them to master the instrument and teaching them all the theoretical knowledge they’ll need to make their particular personality shine. Openness, joy, dedication, creativity and passion for music are some of the things that you will find in the international environment of my studio. I care about who my students are and what they have to say to the world, and I will help them to develop it from the very first lesson.

In my class you will not only be able to receive piano lessons but also will learn to understand how the music works as a language. If the interest and the profile of the student goes in the direction of the purely classical music performance, the lessons will be focused on a deep and conscious piano technique development, practicing techniques, musical interpretation, history of music, history of the piano, applied harmony on the keyboard, analysis, and score reading by a method that I have developed for over 15 years of experience. And if the students wish, I can help them to prepare for the ABRSM exams and competitions as well. All this is aiming to achieve in a very practical and exciting experience the best results in the fastest way possible. But if the profile and the interests of the students goes on another way, I will give them all the tools they need to understand the language of music in depth, so they can find their own voice on the instrument. In that case the lessons will include contents of piano technique, score reading, applied harmony on the keyboard, composition, improvisation, musical arrangement, music production, recording techniques, jazz and pop music analysis and performance. Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician.

Hope you can join and if so, I’ll be very happy to teach you!

Hi, my name is Jim. I'm an electronic music producer with a Master’s degree in Music from the Fontys Academy of Arts (Rockacademie) in Tilburg, Netherlands. Music has always been my way of exploring the world — through raw field recordings, synthesis, and emotional storytelling. Over the past 12 years, I’ve developed a complete, self-sufficient creative process: from concept to composition, sound design to vocal production, mixing, mastering, and live performance. I’m passionate about helping others gain those same end-to-end technical skills — so they can bring their own musical vision fully to life.

As Malvae, I’ve written, sung, recorded, produced, mixed, mastered, and performed all of my work. My music reached #17 in the Spotify Viral 50 charts in the USA, gathered millions of streams, and featured in international film productions including King of the Streets and Netflix’s Terrace House Japan. One of the most formative moments in my career was my Amazonas album project, where I traveled into the Amazon rainforest to record and manipulate natural sounds. 90% of that album was created entirely from these field recordings, reshaped through granular synthesis and advanced sound design into a cohesive sonic journey. That experience deeply shaped how I approach my music and how I teach sound design and composition.

I’ve headlined shows at iconic venues like Melkweg Amsterdam with immersive, self-built audiovisual live sets using Ableton Live, modular gear, sequencers, and Resolume for live integrated visuals. I curated my own events and performed at venues like A’dam Tower, OT301. I also teach at studios such as Wisseloord in Hilversum, guiding students through the technical and creative intersections of sound and performance.

Selected Works & Collaborations:

My EP Like Bees to a Hive began as a soundscape for fashion brand Lobomar’s collection Final Orders, Please, presented at the Amsterdam World Museum. I collaborated with South African poet Julia-Beth Harris, integrating her spoken word into a seamless, atmospheric release. From sequential Prophet 6 textures to ADX1 drum machine layers and detailed field recordings, I handled every layer, from concept through multitrack production to the final live performance in London.

My Chrysalis EP, released as a limited-edition heavyweight red vinyl, pushed that even further, combining ethereal vocals, analog grit, and unique textures to craft an emotionally rich release. I personally led every part of the project’s technical and creative execution, from arrangement and vocal production to final mixing, mastering and vinyl press preparation.

In addition to my own projects, I’ve worked as a vocal producer and mixing engineer, including on Esther Veen’s EP Before I Go, where I handled recording, complex vocal layering, creative processing, production, multivocal arrangement and final mixing to deliver a polished, high-impact sound.

About the lessons:

My sessions are fully customised to your experience level, goals and grounded in real-world music production. Whether you’re just getting started or want to deepen your technical ability, you’ll learn how to develop professional workflows and the creative independence to finish what you start.

We can explore:

- Building advanced music production workflows and creative strategies
- Recording, Composition, arrangement, and storytelling through sound
- Full-stack mixing and mastering — from bedroom setups to pro-level delivery
- Synthesis and sampling — from sound shaping basics to high-level manipulation
- Multi vocal production, vocal recording, editing, layering, FX, and creative processing techniques
- Translating your music into a compelling live set with Ableton Live
- Applying music theory practically in electronic, cinematic, and contemporary music

Lessons are available online or in-person at my studio in Amsterdam. For online students, I use high-quality real-time tools that allow us to collaborate with full-resolution audio directly from your DAW — no screen sharing limitations, just real work in real time.

My own musical path often started by blending the sounds I encountered in the world, whether from distant rainforests or my own voice , into something personal and expressive.
I found my sound that way, and I’d love to help you find yours.

(And don’t worry — we won’t have to go to the ends of the earth to do it. I’ll show you how to turn the sounds you already have into something truly your own.)

Whether you're just starting out or ready to go deeper, I look forward to helping you grow through structured, creative, and technically grounded electronic music education.

Would you classify improvisation as composition or performance? Well actually it is both! When you improvise you are composing music on the spot, performing what you have made up at the same time as you have composed it.

For many people improvisation is a scary word and having to improvise in a group or band is an alarming prospect. However, this really does not need to be the case. As long as you have a basic knowledge of how to play your instrument you will be able to improvise. Once you know the principle of how chords are formed you will soon be improvising with ease.

The key to success is understanding chords. Once you know how chords are formed and know what notes make up a few chords you will be well on your way towards being able to improvise. We will, therefore, start by ensuring a firm knowledge of certain chords. After this we will progress to improvising a simple melody over the top of these chords. The next stage is to start using notes that are not in the chord. The process is then open ended with emphasis on developing the melody.

If you play a keyboard instrument you will be able to improvise your own pieces and be able to entertain your friends at a moments notice. On the other hand if you play in a band or a group you will be well equipped to do a real 'jam' session.

Whether you play a single line instrument (flute, saxophone, trumpet, violin etc.) or keyboard instruments, this class is for you.

My goal is for you to learn to play, nothing more. Play at your own pace, without pressure, but be able to play any piece. Not just memorize a few, but be able to understand and make music without my guidance.

What will we do? Aural training, motor technique, and some sight-reading to teach you the color palette that musicians use. My 1-hour sessions are dynamic and designed to develop your technique, creativity, and expression. What will we work on?
• Improvisation and composition in real time.
• Auditory training (a very fun game where we learn to "draw" the notes that sound in the air).
• Reading, harmony and practical resources adapted to your level.

Additionally, if you want to take your music to the next level, I teach music production with DAWs (like Logic Pro), sequencers, and MIDI controllers.

I'll work around your schedule because I know we all work towards our dreams. I'll provide you with all the necessary materials.

🎯 INTRODUCTION
(English version below ⬇️)
Learn violin with a professional concert violinist active on the international scene.
I was trained directly by Maxim Vengerov, one of the world's greatest violinists, and I regularly perform as a soloist in concerts and festivals across Europe.
👉 You don't just learn the technique —
You learn to play, think and sound like a true stage musician.
💎 WHY MY TEACHING IS DIFFERENT
Most violin teachers:
no longer perform on stage
focus solely on the exercises
My teaching is based on genuine concert experience:
develop a powerful and beautiful sound
play with confidence
prepare for concerts and exams
progress efficiently without wasting time
👉 I teach what actually works on stage — not just in the rehearsal room.
🧠 INJURY TECHNIQUE & PREVENTION
A crucial aspect of violin playing is often overlooked: posture and tension management.
Over time, poor technique can lead to:
unnecessary tensions
physical pain (neck, shoulders, back)
limitations in progression
👉 Many students only realize it when problems arise.
From the outset, I focus on:
a natural posture
freedom of movement
an efficient use of the body
This ensures healthy and sustainable progress.
🔧 ADVANCED CORRECTION & SUPPORT
I also work with:
✔ Students who have developed technical difficulties
✔ violinists suffering from tension or discomfort
✔ Musicians who feel “stuck” in their progression
👉 With the right approach, it is entirely possible to rebuild a free, natural and confident technique.
🌍 INTERNATIONAL COURSE
International concert violinist
Winner of international competitions
Experience of concerts across Europe
Working with top-level musicians and ensembles
🎯 TARGET AUDIENCE
✔ motivated beginners
✔ Children starting out on the violin
✔ adult amateurs
✔ Advanced students preparing for exams or concerts
👉 Each course is tailored individually.
💰 STOCK VALUES
You are not paying for a standard course.
You are investing in:

precise and effective teaching
👉 This level of teaching is usually found in top-level conservatories.
✨ FINAL MESSAGE
My goal is not just to teach you the violin —

- Learning your favorite songs quickly and easily.
- Breaking down rhythms & dynamics
- Understanding the role of bass playing in a band.
- Understanding what makes a good bassline and composing your own.
