Hello there, my name is Ludovica and
I am an Italian singer and singing teacher.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in singing from the Venice Conservatoire (Italy) and a Master’s degree in classical singing from the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague.

I believe that singing is, above all, therapeutic. If you feel the urge to sing, it's because you have the desire to communicate in a different way.

I’ve been teaching singing since 2016, and I am specialized in resolving intonation issues that prevent you from fully enjoying your voice and having fun while singing.

My lessons focus on developing a solid, healthy vocal technique that respects the voice, all within a fun and supportive environment.

My mission is to help you become a confident and indipendent musician with a strong artistic identity.

If you're eager to make progress while having fun, don’t hesitate to contact me!

Experimentation is an inherent characteristic of electronic music. Nowadays, composing music using technology creates endless creative possibilities that demand the musician/composer to adapt to numerous technical and artistic challenges. Do you like experimenting with sound and making music that does not clearly belong to a particular genre or style? Interested in bringing a fresh perspective and out-of-the-box thinking to your music production? Are you just starting out in electronic music composition and wondering how to develop your own style? This course is just what you need.

In this class, you will learn:
- how to transform sound using analogue and digital techniques.
- how to create sound structures and organise them in a DAW enviroment to compose a piece of music.
- how to record, edit and mix sounds using both conventional and experimental techniques.
- how to use improvisation in both the context of live performance and composition.
- about the theory and practice of free improvisation.
- about the history and origins of electronic music and how it affected the music we listen today.
- how to document and communicate procedures related to your artistic practice.
- how to create an artistic portfolio.

Aspiring musicians with a background in any genre can take advantage of this course. A formal education in music or experience with electronic music composition are not required to follow. However, you should be unafraid of experimenting with sound and music technology! Each class is customized to meet the needs of the individual student in an innovative and flexible way! The course can also serve as a preparation for applying to several Dutch educational programmes related to electronic music composition (Institute of Sonology, HKU, ArtEZ, etc.).

The class is focused on small assignments that help the student develop a sense of orientation and set goals.
Recording, editing, and mixing will be done via the DAW "Reaper," but we can switch to your preferred software at any time. We will use the first lesson to discuss your background, interests, and motivations in order to develop a course structure that is tailored to your needs.

Making your own music is a very personal practice that demands attention and care. It is comforting to learn the craft and to know what to focus on now and what to deal later in the process. This way you can let your creativity lead the way and take care of the technical details after on.

With this course, you'll learn the KNOW-HOW of making your own music from start to finish. We will go through; inspiration, composing, arranging, production, mixing, mastering, and release. You will understand the conceptual frame and the technical craft behind them. In no time you will start applying them to your own workflow as well, no matter what genre you are interested in, electronic, pop, jazz, indie, experimental, classical, and so on.

I try to make sure all my students leave the class with a new idea, a fascination, or a new question in their minds about whatever they want to do but most importantly with a smile. The music gathers people, and so is making it. That's why the lessons can flow into a conversation, a joke, a listening discussion, and a feedback session in which we become not only a teacher and a student but hopefully also friends.

Subjects we can focus on: Music Theory, Composing, Arranging, Ableton Live, Sibelius, Notation, Electronic Music, Synthesizers, Guitar(acoustic/electric), Piano, Mixing & Mastering

Hello everyone, I'm Enrico and I come from Italy. Right now I am in Utrecht where I am doing a master's degree in cello under the guidance of Timora Rosler.
During my years of studies I always had the possibility to teach music, in fact while I was doing my Bachelor in Italy at the Conservatory of Turin, I taught cello and music theory in a private music school called "Isla de Musiqueros", in this school I had the opportunity to teach people of all ages, including children under 4 years old.
When I moved to the Netherlands little by little I started to find students and many many concerts.

I believe that playing is the best way to have fun and express your emotions, the work I want to do is work on tensions and try to help you melt away while playing, in this way you can have more sound and feel more free.
Technique is also very important in the everyday life of a musician, together we can see the best exercises for you, to help you improve and have more confidence with the instrument.

At its core, music theory is the study of how music works. It explores the structures and systems that composers and musicians use to create the sounds that we love. In this course, we will cover the basics of music notation, intervals, scales, chords, harmony, and form, among other topics.

Throughout the course, we will examine musical examples from a variety of styles and genres, including classical, jazz, pop, and folk music. We will also explore the historical context of music theory and the ways in which different musical cultures and traditions have developed their own unique approaches to creating and understanding music.

By the end of this course, you will have a deeper understanding of the building blocks of music and the ways in which they are combined to create different musical styles and genres. You will also be able to read and analyze musical notation, identify and describe different musical elements, and have the tools to begin composing your own music.

Whether you are a musician looking to expand your knowledge of music theory, a music student seeking a solid foundation in the basics, or simply a music lover interested in learning more about the mechanics of music, this course is for you. So let's dive in and explore the fascinating world of music theory together!

Piano is a beautiful form of listening to music. What's even better is being able to play the instrument yourself. I am happy to help with this, because the most important step is getting started. Once that step has been taken, things will only get easier.

I work with both books and songs that the students choose themselves, I choose the appropriate sheet music for this, because the best thing is to play songs that you really like!

Max for Live is a tool bundled with Ableton Live that lets you program your own instruments and effects without writing a single line of code. With this course you will get a better understanding of the components of a synthesizer, learn the fundamentals of some of the most known and recognizable effects and learn some basic notions of programming.

Max uses a visual approach to programming, meaning you do not have to right codes to make your own plugins, instead you connect blocks that each have a specific function into an interconnected network that make a functioning instrument or effect.

By learning how to make your own plugin you will also gain a better understanding of how digital audio works, making you more aware of what your are doing in Ableton and more efficient.

My lessons are aimed at teaching a method that can allow student's autonomy in using Max/MSP programming language and the Gen/Gen~ environment. The neophyte can benefit from a practical method, which focuses on the constant exchange between theory and practice; the advanced student will benefit from the refinements of their practice in patch design.
Ideally, the student will be able to be independent in some months.

Students can expect partial covering of DSP topics for music. If needed, a specific lesson can be requested.
Students are invited to present their works and patches, and can expect to discuss them in detail.

Students are expected to be present for each scheduled class, not late, and to avoid a rude or disrespectful beahviour.

Guitar is a very versatile instrument, used in many different genres, including classical music. For me, my journey with it started somewhere in my early childhood, primarily with listening to my mum's playing of folk songs. What amazed me is the power that music has to make people come together and communicate. So at 10, I formally started my individual relationship with the instrument, studying classical guitar, which has given me some of the greatest pleasures in this life, and I hope it will be my source of joy until my dying day. Currently, I am studying Makam music at the Global Music Department of Codarts, Rotterdam. Be it classical, Rebetiko, or any other genre, it is this warmth that I would like to convey to my students, and introduce them to a lifelong friend and companion, who is going to take them to the most interesting places.
