Hi, I'm Mahya, a pianist and a piano teacher. I got my Bachelor's in Music Performance specializing in piano. I worked under the supervision of some of the best piano teachers in the university. I graduated as a top-ranked student. As a concert pianist, I believe that learning the right methods of playing the piano is the key to success in performing it. I have been teaching piano during my studies since I was 18 and always use up-to-date methods for both children and adults based on their requirements. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth.
