About Me

I worked as a 3D Modelling/Detailing Engineer at QuEST Global, Bangalore. I've been learning music for the past 12 years. I possess Grade 2 Trinity Guildhall certificate in Electronic Keyboard and wish to complete all grades in the upcoming years. I was the head of our college music band for 2 years. I work towards obtaining more grade certification and keep the learning spirit.
The past one-year teaching music has been a great journey and reminds me of my early days when I used to struggle with my instruments. One great learning for me as a teacher is that the classes should be personalized and content-based which would enable the student to learn with interest.

Folk or classical acoustic guitar.

The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation.

For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...).

For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (...).

Depending on your goals, you can learn, if you wish, to play 60 to 80% of current music from the first lessons, which often use the same chords and the same techniques. The objectives take into consideration the following points:

I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. I am a professional musician and have been teaching students of all ages for over 20 years. My experience as a teacher and my pursuit of self-improvement as a musician have led me to develop an effective method that I have already tested with over a hundred students.
