Dimitra, born in 1995 in Corinth, Greece.

Starting at the age of 6, she began her musical journey by taking classical piano lessons.
In 2013, she continued her studies at the University of Macedonia, where she discovered her passion for the oud, a captivating Middle Eastern instrument.

In pursuit of her dreams, Dimitra enrolled at Codarts in Rotterdam, Netherlands, in 2017, focusing on mastering the oud. Her hard work and dedication paid off when she received a perfect score of 10/10 for her final concert in 2022.

Throughout her musical journey, Dimitra has learned from renowned teachers such as T. Atzakas, S. Sinopoulos, E. Tsikoouridis, and A. Papadimitrakis, who have provided her with invaluable guidance and nurtured her skills.

To further expand her musical horizons, Dimitra has participated in masterclasses led by internationally acclaimed musicians, including K. Erguner, Y. Tokcan, N. Rohana, C. Barbas, and C. Labrakis. These experiences have enriched her musical perspective and added a unique touch to her performances.

Since 2021, Dimitra has been a member of the musical group Merem. Together, they have released an album and had the opportunity to perform at renowned events like the North Sea Jazz Festival.

Beyond her accomplishments as a performer, Dimitra has a strong passion for teaching. With six years of experience, she shares her knowledge with students of all ages and levels. Her expertise spans various subjects, including oud, harmony, ear training, western and Turkish theory, repertoire, and improvisation. Dimitra warmly welcomes students who aspire to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Music or those looking to develop a solid foundation at any level.
