The saxophone is one of the most iconic jazz instruments, but it can be tricky to learn without the right teaching. That's where I come in! I have a 1st Class Hons degree from the Royal Academy of Music - so I know what I'm talking about! And I have 2 young children, so I know how to get information across to kids and make things fun.

My classes will bring together everything saxophone and music related, from basic technique and how to make a sound, to improvisation and jazz concepts. All abilities are catered for.

No specific books needed - I can provide PDFs of the necessary music.

About Me

I have been playing the saxophone since I was aged 11 (I'm now 32!) and have been a professional musician since graduating from The Royal Academy of Music. I have played all over the world with artists including The Maccabees, Michael Kiwanuka, and Gloria Gaynor, and have been a part of the X-Factor Big Band several times.

I love to teach - sharing knowledge is such a huge part of being a musician, whether it's honing specific skills of an advanced player, or just working out how to make a great sound as a beginner. The absolute number 1 thing is to keep music fun!
That's why we do it, and that's why we love it!

About the Lesson:

In these lessons, we will create a curriculum together, based on your wishes, needs and musical taste. Our goal is for you to be able to express yourself through your instrument.

Hello!!! I’m a saxophone teacher offering ONLINE and FACE-TO-FACE lessons in SAXOPHONE, MUSIC THEORY and HARMONY.

I’ve been teaching ever since I began my higher education in Murcia, whether privately, at music schools or at conservatoires in Andalusia. As a result, I’ve been fortunate enough to meet a wide variety of people, which has made me reflect and realise that THERE IS NO ONE WHO ISN’T SUITABLE FOR MUSIC, because musicality is an intrinsic quality of human beings. They simply haven’t found the way to improve – the approach that works for them: the right methodology. So, every student has a different learning pace and different needs, but a common goal: TO ENJOY LEARNING, which is different from LEARNING WHILES ENJOYING IT.

It doesn’t matter if you can’t read music, if you live far away (you can learn from scratch online), or if you’re a bit older; what matters is the desire to have fun. As a teacher, but also as a former pupil, I focus on fostering MOTIVATION. You learn faster without even realising it. That’s why I always try to focus on each pupil, their interests, their goals, and whether there’s a particular song they’d like to play...

I am a professional musician and have been teaching students of all ages for over 20 years. My experience as a teacher and my pursuit of self-improvement as a musician have led me to develop an effective method that I have already tested with over a hundred students.
Throughout my career I had the satisfaction of studying with great masters of different specialties or styles, each one emphasizing different aspects of flamenco, classical or modern guitar and each one has given me their approach (technique, rhythms, accompaniment, harmony, etc.), which has led me after years of study and compilation to take the best from each one to develop my method.

My role in my classes is more that of a personal trainer than a teacher, where I will be very attentive to bringing out the best in my students, finding the right technique to help them develop a good rhythm, working on their rhythm, etc.
For me, the role of a teacher, in addition to teaching, is to be part of a team, to maintain morale and constantly improve oneself while always maintaining a love for music.

Methodology:
I tailor the lessons to the student's level, style, or goals. Generally, the first half of the lesson is dedicated to technique, focusing on proper placement, execution, and relaxation, which will result in a good sound. Over time, I've realized that it's also a way to connect with the guitar, concentrate, and warm up. So, little by little, we'll develop our routine, which will begin by working on basic rhythmic aspects.
The second half is dedicated to playing, trying to put into practice what we learned about the technique with the sticks or studying other concerns of the student, which may be a theme, harmony, falsetas, improvisation, or even other styles, etc., always obviously taking into account the search or interest of the student.

Hey there!

My name is Dominic, and I'll be providing you with everything you need to reach your musical goals, whichever those may be.

These lessons consist of piano tutoring, in which we can go over any style you may be interested in. I'll also be providing any sheet music and exercises you may need or I may think are necessary.

I'm currently a piano and music theory teacher at AMT, which is an institution near my hometown. I've got a full 8 year music course (mostly focused on classical piano), which I successfully completed in 2025. I've also got a year of music teaching experience on my shoulders, as well as plenty of experience helping younglings and less experienced musicians with any difficulties they may have had over the years.

I'm currently offering online lessons and lessons at your location, as I'm going to be moving soon. Once things have settled better, other options may open up.

The Human Voice has an intimate and emotional connection with our physical body and mentality, whenever we express ourself through speaking, singing, improvising or simply long to express what words cannot, the voice is one of the most direct and authentic ways to connect with ourselves and with others.

Drawing on my professional training in Jazz Vocal at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, my background in Chinese traditional music, and years of personal practice in yoga and qigong, I have developed an organic, embodied approach to vocal expression. Rather than focusing only on vocal technique, I guide students to explore the relationship between breath, body awareness, deep listening, and the natural flow of energy (Qi). Through this process, the voice becomes freer, more grounded, and more expressive.

I offer individual singing lessons tailored to your level, your voice and your goals, from beginners to singers wishing to perfect their technique.
Sessions generally begin with breathing exercises, posture work, and vocal warm-ups, before gradually moving on to vocal and musical work. We can work on pitch accuracy, quality, and projection of the voice, different registers, articulation, diction, and interpretation.
Particular attention is paid to bodily sensations and the relationship between breathing, voice, and expression. The goal is to develop a free and comfortable vocal delivery, while providing you with practical tools to better control your voice.
The work can be based on pieces of your choice. I can accompany you in classical, early and sacred singing, but also in other repertoires according to your tastes.
The lessons can meet different objectives: starting to sing, progressing technically, preparing a piece, working on diction, joining a choir or simply singing with more ease and pleasure.
