For me, music is a true adventure of research and creation. We build our own sound ecosystem using synthesizers, effects, strategies, and various techniques. But above all, the result depends mainly on the intention we put into it. It's a matter of mood and state of mind.

I've had the chance to come into contact with many different musical universes, from metal to electronic music and from hip hop to jazz. I started with electric guitar, then studied for a four-year guitar lutherie diploma. I also taught music in a school before discovering the world of computer-assisted music, which opened up incredible new perspectives for me. Since then, I've done two years of musicology and taken some training at the Fastlane french audionumeric school, where I deepened my knowledge of production, composition, and mixing on a computer.

I teach guitar lessons, bass, writing, arrangement and MAO for all levels in Toulouse, in the Saint-Michel district. My strong point: the courses for beginners.

I suggest you learn to play your instrument and especially to learn music. The courses are individual and personalized. You work on the pieces you want to play. I build the educational path based on these pieces, your expectations and your level (beginner to professional).

I focus on music, language, expression, interpretation, perception of rhythm and sounds. Music is a living language. You did not learn your native language by reading a dictionary or grammar treatise. You have acquired your language by practicing, listening, imitating. Music theory is the equivalent of writing and will only be used if you really need it or want it. The music theory and the theoretical notions will be introduced as the pieces you play contain them. Thus, you can better understand their origin and especially the usefulness they can have for you.

Ableton user, and more recently Bitwig, I produce electronic music for 10 years and have released many singles / EP, but also an album under several different labels. I also performed many performances in Toulouse, Lyon, Bordeaux and Marseille.

Classes are accessible for all levels, and can be adapted according to the needs of the student: composition of music from samples and what creative treatments can be applied, and / or practice of sound synthesis via a panel of Subtractive / FM digital synthesizers.

Classes will focus on the creation of a music from A to Z with theoretical but mostly practical parts, from its composition through editing, mixing and finally the Mastering and eventually its marketing, but can be based on creations made by the student.

Beginner who would like to launch into Beatmaking or confirmed who wants to improve the quality of these productions, I offer you all my secrets in composition and mastering.

We begin?

In this lesson, music knowledge is not a pre-requisite. Here, you will discover music theory and solfege, alongside general music - the understanding of the history and significance of music to humanity.

Students have the option of standard British/ American theory (classic/jazz) or French theory/Ecriture system. From note reading to harmonization, graded syllabus (E.g ABRSM) or just to explore, lessons will be specially catered to your needs. Being able to analyze what you see will definitely greatly improve your own instrument's progress!

Solfege, or solfeggio training is a specialized aural training. It can be taught in either fixed or movable do to train for strong relative pitch and rhythm stability, allowing students to 'hear' the music just by looking at the notes. This is especially useful for mastering sight-reading, transcribing and playing by ear! Adding on, the ability to analyze by ear will open your world to the music you may have not noticed before.
