Learning how to create music is an enriching experience, but one that can seem intimidating at first. No matter your musical experience, whether you can't read music or you have a degree in music, I can help you grow as a musician. I tailor the material specifically to each individual student based on their interests, strengths, and weaknesses. My students have flourished in all styles and genres of music from classical to film/game scoring, to popular, to rock. I take the time to help you discover who you are as a musician and help guide you on that path.

- I have won numerous awards for both my composition and teaching.
- I have over 15 years experience teaching music composition, theory, film scoring, orchestration, songwriting, and music technology.
- My music has played on HBO, Cinemax, NBC, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, as well as every major film festival (including Sundance, Cannes, and Tribeca).
- I am currently a professor at New York University, and have taught at Rutgers University, Cal State, CUNY (Staten Island), and Ashland University.
- I hold a Ph.D. in composition from Rutgers University.
