Hi everyone! I’m Özge, native Turkish speaker, born and raised in Istanbul, Türkiye. I studied Turkish Language and Literature in Ankara University and I am a TÖMER-certified Turkish language teacher for foreigners since 2010. TÖMER is an internationally accredited language center which is established by Ankara University and the pioneer of teaching Turkish as a foreign language.

Languages and learning new cultures have always been a passion for me and after my studies I decided to specialize in teaching Turkish language for foreigners. I have been teaching Turkish to more than thousands of foreigners of every age from all over the world in group and private lessons.

Based on my 13 years of experience, I think that A1 level is a very important period in language learning. When learning any language, beginner level students should learn it in the correct order and important details should be explained well by practising previous ones. Students at more advanced levels, such as A2, B1 or above, also need to practice their skills at the previous level thoroughly to improve their language skills. I try to provide good teaching by paying attention to these important points in my lessons. I keep our lessons' notes in a word file. After our lessons, I send you back all the additional notes and exercises that we covered in our lesson as a Word file.
