Turkish Conversation, Culture & Etymology with a Comparative Literature Scholar
From 25 C$ /h
Learn Turkish through conversation, culture, language, and curiosity.
I am a native Turkish speaker with an M.A. in Comparative Literature and a double major background in Philosophy and Archaeology. I am also a writer, logotherapist and existential analyst, and yoga instructor.
My lessons are adapted to your level, goals, and interests. We can work on everyday conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, reading, and natural Turkish expressions. If you are interested, we can also explore Turkish culture, idioms, etymology, and the historical development of Turkish words and meanings.
Because of my interdisciplinary background, our conversations can range from literature, philosophy, archaeology and psychology to art, science, music, sports, mythology, creative writing, yoga, and worldbuilding. You are also welcome to bring any topic that genuinely interests you.
My aim is to help you use Turkish naturally and confidently rather than simply memorize rules. Lessons can be relaxed and conversational or more structured depending on what you need.

Develop your creative writing through worldbuilding, myth, lore, symbolism, poetry, and character-driven storytelling.
My own work focuses on dark fantasy and mythic worlds shaped through characters, symbolic systems, atmosphere, and poetic language. I am especially interested in worldbuilding that grows organically from relationships, perception, identity, conflict, transformation, and the internal logic of a fictional universe.
In our sessions, we can work on worldbuilding, lore, character development, mythology, symbolic systems, atmosphere, narrative structure, poetry, or the connections between these elements. Rather than simply adding more information to a fictional world, we can explore how its cultures, beliefs, histories, languages, spaces, and characters influence one another and create a coherent whole.
My academic background in Comparative Literature, Philosophy, and Archaeology also allows us to approach creative work from different perspectives, especially when exploring myth, symbolism, culture, meaning, and narrative structure.
You can bring an existing manuscript, poem, character, setting, lore document, or worldbuilding project. You can also come with only an initial idea. Sessions can be shaped around brainstorming, creative development, feedback, close discussion of your text, or building the conceptual foundations of your fictional world.
You do not need to be an experienced writer. The aim is to help you develop a creative language and fictional universe that feel distinctive, internally coherent, and meaningful to you.

Somatic Meaning Guidance is my interdisciplinary approach to embodied awareness, movement, breath, meaning, and reflective practice.
Explore movement, breath, meditation, and body awareness through a fascia-aware and reflective approach to yoga.
I am a yoga instructor, logotherapist, and existential analyst. My approach brings together fascia-sensitive movement, mindful attention, breathing practices, meditation, and an interest in how the body, nervous system, awareness, and experience interact.
Rather than focusing on performance or forcing the body into fixed poses, these sessions invite you to explore movement through sensation, breath, rhythm, curiosity, and your own individual range. We can work with gentle yoga sequences, mobility, fascia-aware movement, grounding practices, meditation, breathing techniques, and periods of stillness.
We can also explore topics such as nervous system regulation, stress responses, neuroplasticity, attention, repetition, and embodied learning from an educational and experiential perspective. My background in logotherapy and existential analysis also informs my interest in awareness, meaning, perception, and the way we relate to our own experience.
Each session can be adapted to your experience, comfort, and personal goals. You do not need to be flexible or experienced in yoga. The practice can be gentle and exploratory or more movement-focused depending on what you need.
My aim is to create a space where movement is not simply something to perform, but something to notice, experience, and understand more deeply — through the relationship between body, breath, attention, and awareness.
These sessions are educational and wellness-oriented and are not a substitute for psychotherapy, physiotherapy, or medical treatment.
