About Me

I am currently a university student at Bangor university, doing Pharmacology, and loved my time in secondary school during both my GCSEs and my A-Levels. I studied Biology, Chemistry and Psychology at A-Level and loved studying these 3 subjects, especially Biology and Psychology since they tied together so much. I am a tutor because although I am really enjoying my time in university I would love to help students have the same experience and love for those 3 subjects as I did when I sat my A-Levels and GCSEs

1. Immediate Communicative Approach (Roleplay-First)

I firmly believe that a language is learned by using it. That's why I dedicate 10 to 15 minutes in each class to role-playing with practical scripts. My students don't memorize isolated phrases; they solve real-life situations by interacting face-to-face.

2. Visual Design and Cognitive Stimulation

I design my slides to break with the traditional method of long, boring texts. I use the following directly:

Color palettes with purpose: Warm tones for beginners, greens and creams for home and family, and oranges for food.

Time-badges: Each slide includes a visible time limit to keep the session running smoothly and ensure your active participation.

3. Magical Grammar and Visual Formulas

I reduce complex Spanish grammar to direct and easy-to-remember visual formulas. I present topics such as gender, SER or ESTAR, and the verb GUSTAR as simple equations:

We don't leave pronunciation until the end. Through our exclusive glossary of 100 Essential Words, students learn syllable division and the exact location of the stressed syllable (intonation), ensuring an excellent pronunciation foundation from the start.
