Hi! I’m Carmen, a passionate and experienced language educator with over 10 years of experience teaching Spanish, Portuguese, and English (ESL) to students of diverse ages and backgrounds. I’m a native speaker of both Spanish and English, and I speak Portuguese at a highly advanced level, having lived and studied in Brazil for several years.
I specialize in working with high schoolers, university students, and adults—whether you’re preparing for exams, learning for professional goals, traveling abroad, or simply expanding your worldview through language. My teaching style is student-centered, flexible, and engaging, with a strong focus on real-world communication, cultural context, and building your confidence from day one.

I’ve also worked one-on-one with adolescents and adults, from absolute beginners and heritage speakers to advanced learners refining their fluency.
