Let me know your Korean level ( learning very first time, had few lessons or don’t understand but can sing along Korean songs etc).

I will provide study material for each lesson to you based on your level.

I speak good English (lived in the UK over 10 years before moving to Belgium).
The lessons will be taught in English to communicate, however, I will try to use Korean as much as I possible - depends on how much you can understand Korean.

Learning Korean can be challenge but it can be fun experience too. And I am here to the fun journey 😀

Are you a complete beginner? No worries. Let's start by studying the correct pronunciation of sounds step by step, beginning with the 10 vowels: ᅡ, ᅣ, ᅥ, ᅧ, ᅩ, ᅭ, ᅮ, ᅲ, ᅳ.

I will guide you on how to pronounce them correctly, because good pronunciation is essential for learning any language. By starting with the fundamentals, we can make learning Korean easier and smoother. So, let's get started and master these important sounds together!

I am a big fan of Korean dramas, and I will use them as examples to show you how Korean is spoken in real life. This will help us develop a deeper understanding of the language and its nuances.

I will teach you how to speak Korean in both formal and informal settings, so that you can understand real Korean more effectively. My lessons are primarily designed for those who wish to improve their conversational Korean skills, and I will teach you how to speak in a fluent and natural way. Additionally, I will provide you with many expressions and phrases commonly used by native speakers to help you sound more like one.

I am also happy to assist with written Korean, whenever a student requires it.

1) Conversation-focused lessons:
The main reason for learning a foreign language is usually to communicate. Even students who had no prior knowledge of Korean can now converse exclusively in Korean with me. We practice forming natural sentences, slowly and at each student’s own pace.

2) Homework and assessments:
Without homework or tests, it is very difficult to make progress in a language. I assign homework tailored to each student’s level and pace, and give a small vocabulary quiz at the end of each chapter. (During very busy periods, the amount of homework is adjusted, so don’t worry!)

3) Culture:
Language is closely connected to culture. In my lessons, we cover various topics related to Korean society, culture, history, economy, and politics.
