こんにちは! My name is Hisako and I would like to teach you about Japan and the Japanese language!

I am a qualified Japanese language teacher from Kanagawa, Japan and have been teaching at a International language school since 2011 to a wide range of students, I am based in Japan so can teach you about current Japanese usage outside of the textbooks too.

I teach a variety of levels via direct method. Direct method means teaching language directly using target language. Here the target language is Japanese. This method is totally in contrast of Translation method. I don't use English in the class.

I teach the following:
absolute beginner,
Intermediate,
Advanced,
All JLPT levels.

Beginners are very welcome. Some of my students study travel Japanese before visiting Japan.
Please tell me your purpose and aim.
Lessons use a variety of materials. I am happy to teach from your textbook of choice.
