Cours de japonais tous niveaux et préparation JLPT
From 52 C$ /h

ENGLISH
I adapt my lessons to your level, your goals and, above all, the way you learn. Whether you are a complete beginner, returning to Japanese after a break, looking to improve your speaking skills, strengthen your grammar or make progress with kanji, we will work together to create a learning path that suits you.
Having learned Japanese myself before living in Japan for 12 years, I have first-hand experience of the difficulties the language can present to French- and English-speaking learners. My aim is not simply to give you the right answer, but to help you understand how the language works so that you can gradually use it with greater confidence and independence.
Depending on your needs, lessons can combine conversation, grammar, listening comprehension, reading, writing and vocabulary. I place particular emphasis on practical use: what we learn should be applicable to real-life situations. Materials and exercises are selected or adapted according to your level and objectives.
Kanji have a special place in my teaching. As a holder of Kanken Level 2 (日本漢字能力検定2級), I enjoy teaching methods that help students understand how kanji are constructed, how their readings work and how characters relate to one another, rather than simply memorising lists. If kanji seem intimidating, my goal is to help you make sense of them — and perhaps even learn to enjoy them!
My lessons are suitable for teenagers and adults, from complete beginners to advanced learners. I can also help students preparing for the JLPT or those learning Japanese for travel, study, professional purposes, or simply out of a passion for the Japanese language and culture.
Lessons can be taught in English or French, according to your preference.

About Me
Languages have always been central to my life. A native French speaker, I learned English and Japanese to an advanced level and lived in Japan for 12 years. This experience allowed me not only to acquire excellent Japanese language skills but also to experience the country's culture and daily life firsthand.
I hold the JLPT N1 and Kanken 2 (日本漢字能力検定2級) certificates, and I have over ten years of experience teaching languages in Japan and Switzerland. I have taught children, teenagers, and adults, both individually and in groups, with a wide range of backgrounds and goals.
My own learning journey greatly influences my teaching methods. I know what it means to start learning Japanese without being a native speaker, to grapple with a very different grammar, to gradually learn kanji, and to try to understand a culture through its language. This allows me to explain certain difficulties in a way that speaks directly to the learner.
Patient, curious, and attentive, I like to create a relaxed atmosphere where you can ask questions, try things out, make mistakes, and progress at your own pace. For me, learning a language isn't just about memorizing vocabulary or rules; it's about gradually discovering another way of communicating, thinking, and seeing the world.
