GENERAL ITALIAN: My lessons are thought for every kind of student: whether you are a beginner or an advanced I will help you with your Italian. We can start from the basis of grammar and phonetics or concentrate on reinforcing your knowledge and perfecting it.

CONVERSATIONAL ITALIAN: we focus on improving your ability to speak Italian. The topics of the lessons will be decided by you or will be based on your interests. I will provide the students with all kinds of didactic materials to encourage them to talk. Of course, the atmosphere will be relaxed but also effective, so that the student will enjoy working on his/her Italian.

ITALIAN FOR CILS, CELI, PLIDA: These lessons are carefully designed for people who would like to take an exam (CILS, CELI, or PLIDA) and obtain an Italian language certification. I will help you, providing you with all the materials and tips necessary to get ready for your exam. In bocca al lupo!

It depends on you, whatever you need help with, I am gladly here for you! All the materials will be provided to the students, if required I can also suggest the reading or the vision of some materials to help the student during the learning path.

Extra information

During my lessons, I use Google Documents. Thanks to this platform, the student and I can share a multimedia blackboard on the same screen, in which I upload the teaching materials (textbook extracts, audio, images, videos, etc.) necessary for the lesson. The student can also take notes and be corrected "live".

About Me

I am an Italian girl interested into foreign languages and cultures. I speak Italian, English, German and Spanish. At the moment I am learning Polish, French and Japanise.
Thanks to my experience as a language student I believe that I have the capability to understand what can be helpful for a student while learning a new language. Furthermore, thanks to my past as language tutor and my actual job of language teacher, I developed the ability of understanding what method is better for my students to help them reaching the desired results - I also worked with students with dyslexia.

If you wish to brush up your Italian, resume a past series of lessons, or simply start from scratch learning Italian, this is the right lesson for you! I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.
